Co-Founder/Senior Physiotherapist

• Provide assessment and carry out treatment plans for patients across different domains including sports injuries, Musculoskeletal and Neurological disorders
• Perform subjective and objective assessments independently using clinical reasoning skills to form appropriate treatment plans
• Deliver quality, client-centred physiotherapy assessment and treatment including hydrotherapy, dry needling and conducting home visits
• Provide physiotherapy services across the continuum of care as well as coordinate the development, planning, implementation and evaluation of physiotherapy services and programs
• Maintaining patient records including preparation of progress and final reports and maintaining treatment statistics and related documentation
• Liaise with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), Medicare, Veterans Affairs, local GP’s and aged care service providers and plan managers to collaborate and manage day-to-day operational service delivery
• Provide clinical leadership, co-ordination and clinical governance including planning, implementation, evaluation, improvement and reporting of the physiotherapy service
• Supervise and mentored physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, and physiotherapist assistants, and interns.

• Provided assessment, treatment, hydrotherapy, equipment assessment / ordering, and report writing for neurological patients under the NDIS
• Managed patients from pediatric to geriatric with various and multiple neurological disorders, sports injuries, musculoskeletal injuries, and orthopedic rehabilitation
• Provided treatment to DVA patients, patients under work cover and conducted home visits
• Conducted aqua aerobic classes, aqua arthritis classes, and aqua diabetic classes
• Worked closely with exercise physiologists, occupational therapists, podiatrists, dieticians, massage therapists, support coordinators, families and carers
• Oversee and mentored junior physiotherapists through case assignment and supervision to ensure their quality of assessment, clinical reasoning and treatment
